Where to Meet Rich Men in Lagos

Happy weekend everyone. Okay ladies. Let's get real for a second here. When we are looking for a partner, one of the prerequisites is, does he have a little fat cash in the bank? Yeah yeah, I hear the ones who say love conquers all. While I absolutely agree to disagree, the glaring truth remains "shebi you wan chop love?". It's great to fall dangerously in love but when that love doesn't bring anything else to the table, and when reality hits, it never is pretty! If you doubt me, Try dating a broke guy for 6 months and give me feedback.
This is no time for judgments! Keep 'em in the 80s where they belong.

Nowadays, needs have become so primary that you can't afford to write off a fat cheque even if you make a buck yourself.  Afterall,  aren't women meant to play the supportive role? That only means that we get to share resources with our partners.
Note keyword SHARE.
So if you're not born with the ultimate silver spoon which automatically guarantees a rich husband in most cases and are wondering where and how to get hold of Mr. Fat Cheque, here's your chance.  You will need to up your game though, because believe me,  the competition is steep. The girls are out for a witchhunt. Join the league and become a winner.
Here's how:

Update your wardrobe
Forget the catwoman costume and barely there outfits.  Remember,  you are hunting powerful men now, and your goal is not to become a mistress. Your eye is on the Madam cash price. Invest in clothes that show off your curves but still cover the right areas.  Best believe that these classic sorts are usually gentlemen and their families are keen on how presentable you are. Take good care of your skin. Get a mani-pedi. Hit the spa at least quarterly.

Enrol for Etiquette classes

The way you carry yourself,  to how you handle a glass of red or white wine is all taken into account with these class of men. Learn how to walk without slouching,  learn how to use your cutlery right and make conversation on the table.

Don't be timid!

Photo Via: A2z Lifestyle
Hi lovelies,  there's a million times when we've all struggled with shyness or come in contact with someone who is in the throes of timidity. Being timid simply put means "showing a lack of courage or confidence".
Are you a timid person? Timidity sees you getting stuck in your comfort zone and never being able to explore new things that might be turning points for self growth. When you are timid,  you can never get anything done or be outstanding.  Timidity keeps you in one place because you are afraid to face reality. You carry on with your life and choose to exist in your own world forgetting that there's in fact a whole other world filled with possibilities just within your grasp if you'd only dare to break free.
Please get out of that box quick and embrace the person you are meant to be.

What to Wear to a Dinner Party

Hi ladies,
So it's the weekend and a great number of us may have something planned for the nights. It may be a night out in town with the crew or an intimate dinner with your partner, boyfriend or toaster or a Dinner party organised by someone who knows someone who knows you. Now you've scored the invitation and looking forward to having a great night. Are you unsure of what to wear?

Don't worry.  EasyLivingDose is here to give you a quick fix. The conventional outfit of choice is the Little Black Dress which is still  acceptable and applauded,  I might add. But in recent times, as widely advised by etiquette experts, the safest route to take is to know where you are going, time of day and what your hosts expects of you. In our Nigerian circles, where there are not many a themed parties,  the act of choosing the right outfit is always left to you to figure out.

Here are some pointers on what to wear to the right occasion.

Make Your Own Cropped Top

Crop top tutorial

Hello guys,

How was your long holiday.  Holidays are always fun as we are able to spend more time with the people we love and care about. I spent mine with three very beautiful friends that have become family.  We caught up on life and other disasters.  We also saw the 'Spy' movie starring Melissa McCarthy - Bless her heart for giving us so many laughs and the ever so dapper Jude Law - Ultimate Man Crush! And for Jason Statham whose comedic side came into full-on action.  If you haven't seen this movie yet. Please,  go and see it. The laughs are so worth it. The cast did an amazing job. The bad guys and babes are yummy to look at too!

Ok Swooning phase out! Reality in. Summer is here and one of the commonest trend to date is the crop top. Crops have been in the fashion scene for years and always manages to make a comeback. How do you wear them? (I like to wear mine with a high Wasted Pants,  Maxi/ Pencil skirts.) More importantly,  do you own a pair? They are perfect with a nice pair of  daisy dukes for a walk down the street/beach. They can also be worn worn as a set with a bandage Skirt ( We particularly love this trend at EasyLivingDose.) What's more, you can get it in any fabric from cotton, lace, chiffon to silk. It's usefulness is endless.

In this post, we are going to show you budget babes how to  make a crop top by yourself from an old cotton t-shirt or making it from scratch.  Just follow the listed  links by other brilliant DIY enthusiasts and carry out the instructions carefully and Ta Da! You've got yourself some crops!  You will need some old loose T-shirts , scissors , ruler, cardboard paper and some chalks. It’s super easy to get done. Don't wait. Good luck!

Xoxo

EasyLivingDose at the 'Illimite' Art Exhibition

Hi guys,

Hope you had a fun weekend. I am typically a stay-at-home-and-lounge-by-the-TV kinda girl. But this weekend,  I decided to give myself some quality R & R. I was invited by my dear friend Joe to an art showing 'illimite' at the Terra Culture by the delightful artist Chinedu.  I wore my favorite pair of denim skinnies,  with my comfy blue sandals,  cuff pearl necklace, ALDO purse and a peplum top I bought a year ago from Aliexpress.
